So, my cousin Marlin passed away yesterday.

He had been in a coma since he had a stroke a few weeks ago.  The original diagnosis had not been good.  But he had looked like he was doing better than expected... He was opening his eyes and he could move one side of his mouth.  I thought he was getting better.  I really wasn't expecting a call from my dad today.

I... I can't go to the funeral, either.  I don't have a ride and I'd miss two days of school.  At least I'm home right now.

Rather than actually doing anything remotely resembling homework, I watch hot Asian boys on YouTube (alkskdjfa;lsdNEWS*cough**cough**die*), contemplate learning Thai (alkskdjfa;lsdGOLF&MIKE*cough**cough**die*), and stare longingly at things I would so buy if I had any semblance of money in my bank account (Damn you,garagesalejapan! *shakes fist*).

Yeah, as of this very moment, I have:

• $5.07 in Savings
• $0.00 in Checking

and... *cough**cough*omgwhydidispendsomuchmoneyi'llneverbeabletopayitallback*death*

• $1,014.20 in Credit Card Debt.

And they haven't taken out for my Arashi Around Asia Photobook yet... And that's another $30 right there.

Maybe I should get another job, besides the one at the IMU... Because they'll only let me work 20 hours a week there.  If I can get another job and work, like, 15 to 20 hours there...

And then when I go home for the summer, I'll make Paul schedule me for as many hours as humanly possible.  I don't care if it's against the law or not, I will work all day every day to pay off my debt AND make some money to got to Japan.

YOSH.  I will work hard to go to Japan!

I got to see Becca today!  I was so happy!  We did lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings.  She called me at 8:30 this morning and told me she wasn't going to be able to come up, so I was all, "Well, this week will start of grand, ne?"  But then she called me back and was all, "I'll see you after your class!"  So that was wicked awesome.  ^_^ v

And then I got a fish!  Well, I should say that Chelsea was amazing and got him for me.  (どうもありがとうございます!!)  He's a fantail goldfish and his name is Henry.  I was debating on a name for a while.  The guy at Wal-Mart said that his name was Guppy, but I really didn't like that name.  Then I was gonna name him Henda (へんだ) because he's a strange one and open and closes his mouth a lot more often than all the other fish I've ever seen do.  But Henda changed to Henry, and that's his name

I am a little worried about him, though... He does open his mouth a lot more than the other fish he was in the same tank with.  He doesn't eat much and a little while ago, he threw up some of the stuff he had just eaten.  And one gill looks redder than I think it should...  But my poor baby was stuck in a Wal-Mart tank that the guy was supposed to get rid of because the people who cleaned them never came and no one would tell that one guy how to clean the tanks and... Ugh... My poor baby!  What horrible conditions to be in!  Hopefully he'll get better being in a clean bowl with decent food and some TLC.

Ah!  He's eating again!  Yay!  Now, don't throw it up, dear...  FUCK.  >_<  Stop it, baby!  You're making me worry! ;=;

Now he's acting kind of weird... Like, swimming right next to the class face-first and flailing about... He didn't used to do that...  Oh, my poor baby!  >_<

Memo to self: Buy some different food, see if he keeps it down any better...

Okay, I'll keep an eye on him for a few days and if he gets any worse, I'll seek professional help.  Henry finally decided to pose nice for me so I got some pictures of the gill that scares me.

Yeah, so, remember that mood I was hoping wouldn't be destroyed?  Well, it's slowly falling apart, bit by bit.  Oh well.  Like something like that would last.  Whatever.

I have a decent sized headache.  Tim talks too loud.  Among other things.

Gonna dye my hair again tomorrow.  Back to the color I had it before it started being stupid and washing out.  And I've got highlights, this time, too.

I got a package from home today.  A pleasant surprise to a not particularly fun evening.  Mom sent me some candy for myself, and then some cute Valentine's Day cards and candy (should I choose to hand said candy out).  And some other little gift that I'm not supposed to open before Valentine's Day.  Knowing how February 14th usually goes for me, I'll need the pick-me-up of a gift to help me get through it.

Well, I've got some Japanese homework to do.  And I'd better do it.

And I have to call my dad tomorrow.  About going to Japan this summer.  "Why is it so critical that it can't wait until you study there with school?"  Boy, this will be fun.
